"Evermore"

Created for the Project Dollway competition this was my first Ellowyne design. We had to choose from one of 6 Ellowyne's
dolls to use as an inspiration and write a poem to go with the design - I chose Nevermore.
Here is my poem to go with this outfit. 

"Evermore"

I choose this outfit for the color of my hair

    I like this designer's style and flair

my therapist says I should brighten my clothes

    So I did, "viola" do you like my pose?

I'm still drawn to black, a velvety fur

    it makes me feel warm yet very demure

the earthy tones remind me of of fall

    I can blend with the trees and become very small

the fabrics and textures are appealing to me

    my style, my mood, my wistful ennui


The Theme

Velvety soft black faux fur
Black lining
Warm shades of silk dupioni in dark gold and pumpkin
Pale pumpkin crushed organza

The Model

 Ellowyne Wilde "Essential Redhead" is my replacement model for Nevermore - which I don't own.
Designed for a perfect fit on Ellowyne this outfit will fit most 16" dolls but I've only tried it on Tyler.
Included in this set
A reversible bustier style top - not too low cut as that's just not Ellowyne, one side in black dupioni and the reverse in the pumpkin and gold dupioni.   Colored side for day and black for evening.   Two snap fasteners at back. 

An elegant black silk dupioni lined skirt with a slight flair.  Skirt fits nicely under the 2nd skirt.  Single snap fastener at back.

A fitted jacket in pumpkin colored silk dupioni with a ruffled collar and cuff in gathered crinkled organza with the shiny side in.  The jacket is not lined.

A colorful layered gathered skirt in 3 fabrics, gold and pumpkin dupioni and organza for the bottom.  This skirt is removed for the evening I used Velcro fastener for this skirt so it's a bit more adjustable so it can be worn without the black skirt underneath.
I will replace the Velcro with a snap upon request.

A fully lined faux fur coat in black with collar.

A faux fur hat, lined in gold dupioni and decorated with some beads and 2 black silk flowers.


Dolls, furniture, stand, shoes, boots, wigs, earrings and any props not included unless specified in auction.
All seems finished where fraying possible for heirloom quality.
