Introduction

As I'm sure you gained access to this page via an off-site link provided by me, I doubt I'd have to explain, but in short, these are just some pictures captured by my sister, mother, and I, while on a trip to a semi-local zoo. The site is basic and pretty straight forward.

Wolves

As the title suggests, some shots taken by either myself, my mother, or sister of the various wolves found at the zoo. Unfortunately we did miss the part where the zoo keepers interacted with them in their dens and we were not able to interact with the wolves personally (aside from the little wolf pup) just like the rest of the patrons.

Foxes

The zoo had arctic foxes and many red fox varients (silver, cross, red), and that was pretty much it, but it was still more than enough for me :)

Spotted & Striped Hyenas

I was particularly surprised to find out that the zoo had hyenas, and not just one kind of hyena, but two kinds. I snapped a few shots of the adult spotted hyenas while my mother and sister snapped shots of me holding the little striped hyena cub. My sister was the fortunate one to hold the spotted hyena cub. They were very sweet baby bone crunchers :P

Other Animals

There were very many animals at this zoo. Camels, lions, tigers, bears sheep, goats, reptiles, birds, apes, monkeys, a hippo, the list goes on. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to snap shots of all of them, but of the shots we did get, I picked up the most interesting and best quality ones to share. Most of these animals were brought out for people to handle, like some of the above pics.
